Fireworks Prohibited in Our Community

To keep our community safe and protect nearby forests, please remember that fireworks are illegal in our area. Here’s what you need to know:

• No Fireworks on ODF Lands or Nearby: The Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) prohibits fireworks on any ODF-protected lands and within 1/8th of a mile of these areas. This includes all forested regions managed by ODF.
• Prohibited in Evans Valley : This means that fireworks are not allowed anywhere within Fire District #6 or in the City of Rogue River.
• BLM Lands Ban: Fireworks are also banned on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lands.
• Report Firework Activity: If you see fireworks being used in these restricted areas, you should contact non-emergency dispatch at (541) 776-7206. For more immediate concerns, dial 911.
